On the evening of October 10, 2018, more than 350 magazine media professionals gathered in New York City at the FOLIO: Eddie & Ozzie Awards to recognize excellence in magazine editorial and design across all sectors of the industry. PPB magazine, designed by SPARK Publications, won the association/nonprofit data visualization category for “Millennial Spotlight” in the magazine’s May 2017 issue. It also received an honorable mention for association/nonprofit graphic art for the July 2017 cover story art.
A panel of more than 300 judges narrowed more than 2,500 entries into a pool of roughly 800 finalists. In total, 263 awards were given out across 33 categories. Other winners included ESPN the Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, and Inc. magazine, putting PPB on par with some of the industry’s heavy hitters.
