Renee Breazeale shares her lessons for life and business as a woman who built a multimillion dollar industrial business in the 1990s. She has launched her book and new business, Victory In Time, to help her readers and clients step behind the curtain, a call for transparency, and work of authenticity.
In her book, Soaring Through Adversity, Renee tells her unique story of starting Victory Bolt & Specialty with $3000 to her name. Overcoming adversities as an entrepreneur, woman, and Christian and turning them into victories.
When most business owners put on a mask and only talk about the things that are going well, Renee is open and honest about her struggles with her self-doubt, with her health, and with her priorities.
If you are a business owner or leader who wants to lead with authenticity and learn to celebrate your victories, then this is the book for you.
Renee’s thoughts on working with SPARK Publications:
SPARK Publications was with me every step of the way. They matched me with the perfect editor for her talent and personality. This book would not have happened if I had not worked with the SPARK Publications team.
Is there a particular moment that SPARKed your interest in writing a book?
I sold my business and COVID hit. I found myself looking out over the lake by my house and wondering what I was supposed to do next. I remembered a woman telling me to turn obstacles into opportunities. That woman was Fabi Preslar, Owner of SPARK Publications.
What surprises did you encounter on the road to writing and publishing the book?
As I wrote, I realized I hadn’t celebrated my successes because I was always looking towards the next thing. Writing this book gave me the chance to reflect on my achievements and inspire other business owners to do the same.
Now that your book is published, are there any goals or experiences you’re looking forward to?
I am building my mastermind business/leadership groups to help leaders rise above their circumstances. I’m also enjoying speaking to groups and on stage as an inspirational speaker to share lessons learned while building an industrial business while facing critical health issues. I simply want to help leaders triumph and soar through the adversity, whatever that looks like for them.
What advice do you have for other authorpreneurs and aspiring writers?
I was scared it wouldn’t be good. So I didn’t talk about it or promote it. But when I saw the final product, I was pleasantly surprised. I urge aspiring authors not to let fear reduce the value of their book in their mind. Trust SPARK Publications to collaborate and produce an amazing book with you.
