Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina chronicles the waterfowl hunting heritage of the Outer Banks and Back Bay area and shares images from the finest collections. The book is written primarily for serious decoy collectors, but anyone with an interest in folk art will find beauty and fascinating history within its pages. It is Kroghie Andreson’s fourth book on the topic of bird decoys and decoy collecting. He was joined by Philip Harvey, another avid hunter and collector, in writing this book and compiling its detailed history.

Kroghie on choosing SPARK Publications

“I choose custom publishing because complex books with lots of images need a magazine design company. The improvements in publishing technology since my last book were a pleasant surprise, and I look forward to publishing yet another book with SPARK Publications down the road.”
