Is there a particular moment that SPARKed your interest in writing a book?

Clients and business partners encouraged me to bring my unique perspective that had already helped so many clients and radio show listeners.

What surprises did you encounter on the road to writing and publishing the book?

It surprised me to learn that writing a book is not an instant process. It’s kind of like growing a business—it takes a team and a good leader.

What advice do you have for other authorpreneurs and aspiring writers?

Just do it!

Tell us about your future plans—what’s next for you?

I plan on continuing to build and grow my financial firm. I also look forward to more guest speaking appearances to share my book, advice, encouragement, and inspiration.

What does success mean to you?

Waking up every day knowing I get to make a positive financial impact on individuals and families.

What are your hobbies and passions? Do you belong to any groups for these activities?

I have a radio talk show and I am the State Chairperson for the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women. I am also an Advisory Board Member and an Asset Bank Wealth Manager.

I enjoy mentoring young women via the Women’s Leadership Conference.

I raise money through events for non-profits such as Allied Arts, Force 50 Foundation, the Police Force, YWCA Services—Domestic Violence Prevention, National Women’s Hall of Fame, to name a few.
